The Trust is entirely supported by voluntary contributions. It serves all in the community, and welcomes many visitors to the area. it is now building up capital to ensure an ongoing regular income to pay for essential maintenance both now and in the years to come. ​

The Masham Church 2000 Trust is a (registered charity no 1084082) and was established back in 2000 with the stated purpose. "To maintain, repair, restore, preserve and reconstruct, for the benefit of the public, the fabric of the Parish Church of St. Mary Masham and the churchyard of the Church"

You could add a simple codicil to your will. 

1. Write instructions
2. Write the date in words
3. Sign in the presence of 2 independent witnesses (not friends or interested parties)
4. Ask the witnesses to sign, adding their names, addresses & occupations
5. Place with your will but do not pin or staple it
6. Tell the Trust!

Our Achievements so far

Generous contributions from our supporters have meant that we have been able to do all the following.

• Historic church clock - overhauled & regularly serviced
• Churchyard maintenance - including wall repair and new electrical wiring
• Coat of arms - total restoration and repainting
• Roof repairs - helped to re-lead sections. Internal re-plastering and painting 
• Gargoyles - new lead gargoyles for the Vestry & South Aisle downpipes
• Rain water downpipes - checked, repaired and painting throughout
• Masonry - re-pointed sections of the Church walls
• Church lighting - helped with the re-design and installation
• Churchyard - two new teak benches for visitors and residents
• External doors - repaired and re-painted​
